What will I get?

Your Au Pairhost family will give you

• US$139.05 a week for 45 hours work a week (about NZ$225)

• Domestic travel to the family home on arrival

• International return airfare

• Medical and travel insurance for the duration of your stay

• Up to US$500 towards your educational expenses

• 14 days paid holiday at the end of your stay

What do I need to do?

AuPairsneed to

• Work for 45 hours a week

• Have at least 200 hours documented experience with children under 2

• An international drivers licence

• Enrol in a course of study for at least 6 semester hours during your stay

How long can I stay?

Au Pair Families want their au pair to stay for 12 months. Your visa allows you to stay in the USA for 4 extra weeks after your 12 month au pair contract is up so you can travel.

How much will this cost?

Au Pairsneed to pay for

• Education expenses over US$500

• A good faith bond of US$500 (about NZ$800). This is returned to you at the end of your stay

• A registration fee of NZ$500
