Fiesta! Fiesta! Join us in Spain for a high-spirited and exciting time. Spain is colour, history, passion, yummy tapas and shimmering beaches (yeees!)

Everywhere you turn is history -from Iberia's imperial city of Toledo, to the art museums of Madrid, to medieval villages perched cliffside on the Pyrenees. Take a pilgrimage along the Camino de Santiago, gaze at the architecture of Gaudi, or just laze on one of the beaches of the Belearic Islands (think Ibiza).

Au Pairing gives you the chance to wholeheartedly embrace this rich and lively culture. The locals are extroverted, sociable and very friendly. You'll love all the warm welcomes (oh and did we mention the beaches!)

What will I get?

Your Au Pair host family will give you

• Minimum of 50 Euro a week (about NZ$90)

• 1 week paid holiday for every 6 months worked

• Either a free bus pass or bonus at the end of term

• GO25 youth card

• Free telephone card with time on it on arrival

• The opportunity to study Spanish (you must pay for this but the family may pay 15 Euro a month towards it)

What do I need to do?

Au Pairs need to

• Have sole charge childminding experience (no formal training is required). Thischildcare experiencedoes not include babysitting children when they are asleep. We require two childcare references.

• Work for 30-35 hours a week

• Study Spanish

How long can I stay?

Some families want an au pair for 6 months but most families want you to stay for 9-12 months.

• Full travel and medical insurance

• The cost of your language classes

Please Note: classes cost about 1500 Euro for 3 months (about NZ$2710)

• A registration fee of NZ$500
