Language: To be an Au Pair in France you need to have studied French for at least 3 years and be a current or recent student. France is one of the more expensive countries to go to but it's totally worth it - and it's the only country you can go to practice your French! WHAT IS AN AU PAIR? An Au Pair lives and works for a host family in the country of your choice. You help with childcare and housework for a certain number of hours each week (approximately 25-30) in exchange for room, board and a weekly allowance (see below for more information about Au Pairing in France).
