_________________________________________________ MESSAGE FROM OUR DIRECTOR: I am Mieko Cains, the Director of these very rewarding programmes. I am originally from Japan and have been married to my kiwi husband for 40 years. I was on a working holiday in New Zealand 40 years ago. Travelling to the other side of the world then was not as easy as it is today! However, I felt like a real trail blazer and took the big leap overseas. I was electrified with curiosity and wanted to see this amazing world with my own eyes. Visiting New Zealand gave me an awesome opportunity to learn a different culture and way of life. This experience has been both rewarding and challenging and has enriched my cultural knowledge. I have discovered the value of community spirit! A 'once in a lifetime' overseas experience like Au Pairing and volunteering is a great way to broaden your knowledge of people, culture and even yourself! Can Do Kiwis will work very hard to help you achieve your dreams!
